| The Blue king crab occurs in the northeastern Pacific from the coast of British Columbia to Cape Barrow in the Chukchi Sea, in the northwest - from Peter the Great Bay and Hokkaido Island in the Sea of Japan to the Bering Strait. In the Bering and Okhotsk Seas, it also occurs on the shelves of the islands of St. Lawrence, St. Matthew, Pribylov, St. Iona. Occurs at depths from 10m to 500m on silty-sandy soils.
