			The Far East is a vast geographic region that includes the territories of North-East, East and South-East Asia. It is washed by many basin seas: Arctic Ocean: Laptev Sea, East Siberian Sea, Chuckchee Sea. North Pacific: Bering Sea, Sea of Okhotsk, Sea of Japan, Yellow Sea, East China Sea, Philippine Sea, South China Sea, Celebess Sea (Sulawesi), Banda Sea, Java Sea. Indian Ocean: Timor Sea, Andaman Sea.
Usually, when they talk about the Far East of the Russian Federation, they mean Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories, Sakhalin, the Kuril Islands, Kamchatka and Chukotka. The Far East of the Russian Federation is washed by four seas and has direct access to the northern part of the Pacific Ocean.
