| Occurs in the Sea of Japan from the Tatar Strait to Chemulpo, in the southern part of the Sea of Okhotsk and in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean from the Lesser Kuril Ridge to Tokyo Bay and Nagasaki. In 1959, the USSR carried out work on the acclimatization of P. latirostris in the Khadzhibey estuary (Odessa), on the basis of which it was erroneously included in the list of decapods of the Black Sea (Băcescu, 1967). Currently, there is no information about its location in the Azov - Black Sea basin. | ||||
